Diaspora Journey: A Passover Haggadah Drama

When you think of it, the Passover Seder is the world’s original dinner theatre.

With words like, “When I went forth from Egypt,” it’s supposed to make people feel like they experienced the journey from slavery to freedom. But let’s face it: no matter how much any Haggadah makes us think about freedom, slavery, history, politics or anything else – we rarely leave our Seders feeling like we’ve made the journey ourselves.

Now, a completely original Haggadah emerges to give people the opportunity to experience the drama first-hand. The action takes place at five Seder tables through history. Instead of everyone essentially passing the book around the table to read a few lines, every participant plays a consistent role throughout the evening. In this way, we bring our stories to life to enjoy a richer Pesach experience, alive with both our cultural and personal histories.
